During my peer conference by classmates correctly pointed out that I hadn't elaborated on the impact the Catholic church has had upon my standpoint.  Both of my step-children are Catholic, and they often share with me their thoughts and feelings about church and attending Catholic school.  I have attended their important Catholic ceremonies and encourage them to embrace their faith.  Although I have always been atheist, I do believe in resecting all belief systems, and enjoy open and mutually respectful conversations with my children.

Recently, having had been placed in a Catholic school for my practicum, I have been further exposed to Catholicism, and am learning a lot from that experience.
