Perhaps the largest oversight from my updated standpoint was that I didn't acknowledge the impact my Brock Teacher Education is having on my perspective.  The program strongly reinforced teachings on diversity and inclusivity, which have sharpened my awareness of my own thoughts and feelings.  The program has exposed me to the many types of learners I might encounter, and prepared me to be able to engage them as fruitfully as possible.

Now, nearing the end of my first semester, I'm excited to be in the classroom and apply some of what I have learned.
