History
In 1956 Ted Bell opened Bell’s Accordion College above the Beaver Theatre on Dundas St. across from Medland St. The Beaver was torn down, and in 1962 the studio moved to its present location.
In 1966 a young accordion teacher named Bill Lowe purchased the studio from Mr. Bell, changing the name to Lowe’s School of Music.
Since then, the school has been established in both Toronto and Mississauga.
